Albemarle Corporation to Increase Price of Ibuprofen

BATON ROUGE, La., Sept. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Albemarle Corporation , a global supplier of the active pharmaceutical ingredient Ibuprofen, will increase the price of its Ibuprofen 40 micron and Ibuprofen 70 micron products by 12 percent, and its Ibuprofen 20 micron product by 20 percent, worldwide, effective October 15, 2007, or as contracts allow.
