PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Affymax, Inc. (Nasdaq: AFFY) today reported financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2012. The net income for the first quarter of 2012 was $31.5 million (or $0.87 per share) compared to a net loss of $9.6 million (or $(0.36) per share) for the first quarter of 2011.
