ActiViews Announces First Lung Procedure with CT-Guide™ Needle Guidance System in the U.S.

WAKEFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ActiViews, Inc, a company pioneering the development of simple, accurate, and cost-effective surgical navigation solutions, announced today the first successful procedure in the United States with CT-Guide™ navigation. The procedure was performed by Sebastian Flacke, M.D., Ph.D., Director of Interventional Radiology and Vice Chair for Research at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Flacke utilized CT-Guide™ navigation for a successful lung biopsy of a small, deep abnormality in the patient’s middle right lobe.
