Actavis to Host Annual Meeting of Stockholders on May 10, 2013

PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Actavis, Inc. (NYSE: ACT), today announced that the Company will host its 2013 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on Friday, May 10, 2013 beginning at 8:30 AM Eastern Daylight Time. The meeting will be held at the Parsippany Sheraton in Parsippany, NJ, and will be open to in-person stockholders of record only.

Actavis will not be providing a formal update on the business at the meeting, but rather will consider and vote on certain routine matters, including the election of certain directors, the ratification of the appointment of the Company's independent registered public accounting firm and other Company business as more fully described in its Notice of Annual Meeting and proxy statement.
