PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y., July 1, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aceto Corporation (Nasdaq:ACET), a global leader in the marketing and distribution of pharmaceutical intermediates and active ingredients, finished dosage form generics, nutraceutical products, agricultural protection products and specialty chemicals today announced that Dr. Lukas von Hippel has been named Acting Managing Director at its Pharma Waldhof operating subsidiary in Germany. Prior to Aceto, Dr. von Hippel began his professional career with the former German chemical group Degussa where he held various positions in R&D, business development and marketing and sales for more than 12 years, and later worked at AllessaChemie, the privately owned German fine and specialty chemicals company, most recently as a member of the managing board focused on marketing and sales. Dr. von Hippel holds a Master in Physical Chemistry from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany.
