AccuMed International Will Move HQ from Buffalo to North Carolina
A year after its sale to a venture capital firm, a Buffalo medical device manufacturer is moving south.
AccuMed Corp. is moving its corporate headquarters to the Triad Region of North Carolina, though it will maintain a small presence here with about 10 executives, down from the 75 who work there today.
Founded here in 1994, the company is a contract manufacturer for medical products, specializing in textile-based products that touch the body, such as mattress pad liners and orthotics products.
