ESCHBORN, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dr. Wilhelm Horn, a member of the Accovion management team for more than seven years, has left the company to pursue new professional challenges. Dr. Horn held several senior positions within Sanofi Aventis before he joined Accovion’s management at the company’s foundation in 2002. He contributed significantly to Accovion’s growth and successful positioning within the CRO market. Accovion cordially thanks Dr. Wilhelm Horn for his invaluable services over this time.

In conjunction with this change, Martin Schröder, a member of the management team, has been named CEO of Accovion GmbH. Dr. Kurt Löffler continues in his position as a managing director of Accovion GmbH.

“Our goals are to continue the successful development of Accovion and to further strengthen our marketing position as a provider of premium services in the clinical development area”, said Martin Schröder. In this context, international acquisitions are planned so that Accovion’s business activities and areas of competence can be further expanded to strengthen the company’s position in the international marketplace.
