NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTG - News) announced today that its Catheter Flushing LLC subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with Smiths Medical ASD, Inc. covering patents generally relating to the catheterization of patients using a guide wire and a flushing port. The agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the District of Utah with respect to certain Smiths Medical products.
