NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTG - News) announced today that its Thermal Scalpel LLC subsidiary has entered into a patent license agreement with Smith & Nephew Endoscopy covering certain Smith & Nephew electro-surgery products. The agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas with respect to those Smith & Nephew products.
