DANVERS, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 8, 2006--Abiomed, Inc. (NASDAQ: ABMD - News) today announced financial results for its first fiscal 2007 quarter ended June 30, 2006. Revenue for the quarter was $13 million, up 55% compared to revenue of $8.4 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2006.
