A Second Chance At Employment For Pennsylvania Life Sciences Workers

They aren't the only ones with jobs, others are hiring right now! Check it out! (Isn't it tempting?)

The Pa. Life Sciences Connect, a public/private initiative formed earlier this year, put out a “call for talent” this week seeking people for its pool of displaced life sciences workers. The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development in January awarded a $750,000 grant to the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Economic Development Corp. to create the program. Ashton Tweed, a Wayne, Pa. recruitment agency that specializes in the life-sciences industry, is also part of the initiative. The program is designed to match researchers, executives and others laid off from pharmaceutical manufacturers — where thousands of jobs have been cut in recent years.

Don't forget, hundreds of biopharma companies are hiring! (We know you can't resist.)
