$23 Million For Breast Cancer Research

SFGate -- A state-run breast cancer organization is offering $23 million in grants to scientists studying the environmental causes of breast cancer and why some groups of women seem to be at greater risk based on their ethnicity or where they live. The California Breast Cancer Research Program announced the funding program Tuesday at the annual American Association of Cancer Research convention in San Diego.
