-- Second Largest Deal for Dendrite, as sanofi-aventis, the World's Third Largest Pharma Company Sets Out To Increase Sales Productivity with First Source Sales Applications(TM) Solution, WebForce(TM) and ForceAnalyzer(TM)
Dendrite International, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRTE), a leading provider of sales, marketing, and clinical solutions for the life science and pharmaceutical industries, today announced that it signed a comprehensive, five-year software and services agreement with the sanofi-aventis Group in the United States, the third largest pharmaceutical company in the world and the largest in Europe. Dendrite indicated that the total contract value was the second largest in the company's history, and would result in sanofi-aventis becoming the company's second largest customer.
Under the agreement sanofi-aventis will expand its deployment of Dendrite's WebForce(TM) and Force Analyzer(TM) solutions and related services -- part of Dendrite's industry-leading sales effectiveness solutions, First Source Sales Applications.
