Wyeth (WYE) Selects ActivityBase For Screening Sciences Data Management

ID Business Solutions (IDBS) today announced that Wyeth (NYSE: WYE), one of the world's largest research-driven pharmaceutical and health care products companies, will implement the ActivityBase data management software suite to increase efficiency and throughput in the operations of its Screening Sciences Department.
After a rigorous evaluation, which involved stress-testing ActivityBase's abilities to handle ultra high throughput processes, Wyeth selected ActivityBase for its Screening Sciences groups at the four Discovery Research locations in Pearl River, (New York), Princeton (New Jersey), Collegeville (Pennsylvania) and Cambridge (Massachusetts). The ActivityBase suite will provide Wyeth with a common, integrated framework for all its screening data, enabling researchers to capture, manage and access large volumes of information. This will help accelerate the discovery of new lead compounds for Wyeth's main therapeutic areas of inflammation, neuroscience, oncology, women's health, and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
