INCOGEN Receives Phase II Award From National Science Foundation To Develop Bioinformatics Education Software

WILLIAMSBURG, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 25, 2005--INCOGEN has announced that it received a $500,000 Phase II SBIR award from the National Science Foundation to create an educational version of their industry-leading bioinformatics analysis workflow platform, VIBE. The new software, called VIBE Education Edition, or VIBE-Ed, will take advantage of the rich and user-friendly features of VIBE to teach students about concepts in bioinformatics.
