HERNDON, Va., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Mediatech, Inc., a market leader in cell culture and bioprocess systems, purchased 10 acres of land in Prince William County on which their brand new 100,000 square foot facility will be built. In August 2004, Governor Warner (VA) announced that the state and county would provide cash grants and other incentives in the range of 1.4MM to Mediatech to relocate to Innovation@ Prince William Technology Park.

President Jim DeOlden and Executive Vice President John Elliot are continuing to work on the layout of Mediatech's new corporate headquarters and manufacturing operation. This facility will integrate state-of-the-art systems and innovative technology with emphasis on their unique filling process that provides higher sterility assurance levels than all others in the industry. The manufacturing plant will also have separate production lines for animal and non-animal products. Mediatech will join other biotechnology and technology companies, including Eli Lilly and Company, ATCC and George Mason University's National Center for Biodefense, at their new location.

Sheer Partners, Inc., based out of their McLean, Virginia office, is guiding the building program. In collaboration with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and the Prince William County Department of Economic Development, Sheer Partners is helping to ensure Mediatech's transition to Innovation@ Prince William is seamless.
