Sarah Cannon Cancer Center Expands Network With Florida's Largest Privately-Owned Oncology/Hematology Practice

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 16, 2005--Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) has signed a letter of intent to enter an agreement with Florida Cancer Specialists, Florida's largest privately-owned oncology/hematology practice. The relationship makes it possible for both organizations to increase the number and types of clinical trials offered, giving more patients access to the newest treatments. "This agreement is an exciting step to expand and standardize operations with our comprehensive network of clinical researchers across the country," said Mark Cianciolo, CEO of Sarah Cannon Research Institute.
