Renovo Ltd. Announces The Appointment Of Dr. Ali Raza As Medical Director

Renovo today announced the appointment of Dr Ali Raza as the Medical Director. Dr Raza has relocated to Renovo in Manchester, UK from AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, Wilmington, Delaware, USA, where recently he was the Executive Global Product Director and Global Team Leader for the Super Statin Programme. In this role, Dr Ali Raza built, led and executed the development plans to deliver the Crestor MAA, NDA and JNDA submissions to the European, US and Japanese Regulatory Authorities within a record period of just over 3 years from initiation of clinical studies. Crestor has now been approved in more than 30 countries. Prior to that Dr Ali Raza was the Head of the Medical Department for Zeneca Pharmaceuticals in Toronto, Canada and before that the Global Team Leader for Zestril. Following graduation with a first class honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Manchester and a medical degree from the University of London, Ali’s first pharmaceutical job was as a Clinical Research Physician for Sanofi Pharmaceuticals in Manchester, UK.
