FRAMINGHAM, Mass. & BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 28, 2004--Averion Inc. (Averion) a leading Contract Research Organization with more than 20 years experience, announced today that it has signed a non-exclusive alliance agreement with ProMedica Clinical Research Center, Inc. (ProMedica CRC). ProMedica CRC is a provider of Phase I and Phase II services.
This Agreement represents a working relationship that will involve joint marketing efforts and a mutual contracting of complementary products and services from both companies to biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
Among the areas where a collaborative relationship would appear to be beneficial to both parties are cases when Averion requires support of Phase I or II studies where Averion does not provide such support and where ProMedica CRC requires clinical monitoring, data management, biostatistics or medical writing support.
"We are continuously striving to develop our Strategic Alliance Network to better serve our clients needs," Brian Langin, Senior Manager of Business Development and Strategic Alliances said. "We feel that ProMedica CRC will provide our mutual clients with a continued high level of service."
