Innovative Drug Delivery Systems, Inc. (IDDS) Adds Respected Business Development Vice President To Management Team

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 28, 2005--Innovative Drug Delivery Systems (OTC BB: ITRD), a developer of novel pain relief treatments, named Michael Sheckler as Vice President for Business Development. Mr. Sheckler brings nearly 20 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience to IDDS. He began his career with the Ross Division of Abbott Laboratories, selling nutritional and pharmaceutical products. During his time there, he served in a variety of sales roles, winning numerous sales awards. As a market research analyst, Mr. Sheckler was responsible for the market assessment and product launch plans for several line extensions.
Mr. Sheckler left Ross in 1999 to join Bespak, Inc., a drug delivery technology company, as Marketing Manager. He also held the positions of Director of Marketing and Product Management and Head of Marketing for the Nasal Drug Delivery business stream. In the latter role, he was instrumental in launching the business stream, assessing and growing new business opportunities in the U.S., and developing and implementing the launch and marketing plans for new products. Prior to joining IDDS, Inc., Mr. Sheckler worked with Intranasal Technology, Inc., a Kentucky-based nasal drug delivery company as Director of Business Development.
