THORNWOOD, N.Y., June 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH announced today the acquisition of the U.K. based Cell Science Division from Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. , effective June 1st, 2004. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Bio-Rad Cell Science Division is a pioneer in developing and commercializing confocal microscopy and multi-photon technology.
